Where, Oh Where Did My Little Sun Go?

Oh where, oh where can it be? Today has been grey with showers. All hopes for a hike have been dashed, as we get sprinkles, then quiet skies, then sprinkles again. You can see from our flags that there is some wind, too.

I have finished reading Life in Balance: A Physician's Memoir of Life, Love and Loss with Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. In it, Dr. Thomas Graboys details his struggle with Parkinsons and Lewy Body Dementia over the past few years. I wanted to read his view of the physical and mental struggles brought on by the diseases to better understand the struggles that Mike's father experienced. The book was well-written and very moving. Michael and Pat plan to read it next.


I am off to find some fun excursion for the day. Smiles!
