We had a fun trip to Jiminy Peak on Saturday morning with Steve, Helen, Ali, and Morgan. The alpine slide and mountain coaster were lots of fun! I'll try to get some photos posted soon. Saturday night was dinner for 8 -- we were guests -- and lots of fun.
We stayed late at camp yesterday and got home around 3 pm. We cut the grass then planted some gifts for Mattie -- 2 varieties of catmint. Ours didn't come up this year.
Mattie was pretty sated after rolling around in his new plants.
I was also pleased to see yet another iris. I cannot believe how late they are this year!
We were also treated to a visit by Pat, Deirdre, Connor, and Fiona. We had a nice time!
We made a yummy dinner last night, too. Salad, crab cakes (from Trader Joe's) and zucchini with Emmentaler. Yum, yum, yum! I used a little too much cheese, but it was good anyway. After 4 loads of laundry and washing the car, we settled down to watch Lars and the Real Girl. We liked it.
