Our friends Steve and Helen surprised on Sunday night with our birthday gift. Steve's talents know no boundaries, and he and Helen are very thoughtful when it comes to birthday creations.



Isn't this the coolest weather vane you've ever seen?



Look at the mice climbing their way up the legs...



And the kitty watching the one on the top, just waiting to pounce!

They know Mattie for sure! This is not the final location for the weather vane. When it finds its permanent spot we'll plant a climbing flower underneath it.
