Something Store

Sometimes in life I want a little surprise. Often I want to surprise someone else... So, when I got this news article from Fresh Trend, I though, "Huh?"

Something Store - Surprise Yourself!

We were so enamored with one of our most recent BlogAd sponsors (see the far right column) that we decided to share a little more about them.

SomethingStore.com could possibly be the most unique, weird gift you could possibly give someone, or on the flip side, it could be the lamest thing in the history of the world (although we doubt it). The reason it could go either way is because you don’t exactly know what you’re giving, but you are giving something.

For just $10 they’ll send something to someone. Vague but fun. If you’re a little apprehensive give their SomethingTracker a peek and you can see some of th recent gifts that have been shipped.

One final note, SomethingStore is the first ever gift idea that falls under every single category that we cover, since well…you never know what you’re gonna get.

I am always game to try something new, but didn't want to tell everyone about it until I knew if it would be supercool or superstupid. I ordered myself one something (price: $10 with shipping) on May 6. According to the site I would have my something in 5 days -- May 13 by my estimate.

In reality, my "something" shipped on May 14 via USPS. I was out of town anyway, so who cares?! It arrived on my doorstep (figuratively, since it was delivered to my office) on May 19.

As you can see, it came in a padded envelope... Hmmmm.... What would it be?! It could be cool, it could be dumb. Open it already!!!!

Turns out, my something is really COOL! It is a leather wallet on a string kind of thing, with room for keys, ID, credit cards, etc... They didn't even know I am a girl that would like this, so it is really perfect!

Leave it to me to take a chance on a $10 mysterious gift... I am so glad it worked out, though who knows for the next time :) Now I have to start thinking of who'll I'll start randomly sending gifts to...

Have a Happy Day!
