That thought worked toward the inspiration for Mike's card... I didn't make it; I didn't have to. Crystal over at LittleBitFunky does such a beautiful job, I'd rather buy her cards :)

In one of our late night chat sessions, Mike and I got into a long discussion about The Red Balloon. It was my favorite movie as a child and his favorite book. It seemed fitting to get him something he loved from his past to enjoy in his future (besides me, of course).

I did a couple of other little things yesterday to get him warmed up... He is officially a member of Red Sox Nation now.

I also ordered a Fenway Park Scoreboard message (below is a sample) that said, "Happy Birthday Mike Horgan. Love Tracy"

That seems to be what a true Sox fan would do :)
He has a few other small things on the way, too...
