Sorry about being so slow on posting today...
This just came across my reader, courtesy of PlumTV (sorry, couldn't embed it because their link didn't work right). I instantly thought of a friend of ours, Fran, who had Lyme Disease go undiagnosed for 18 years (I think that is right). Then I thought of my stepfather Brian, who had Lyme a couple of years ago. Then of a co-workers dog that got it.
After watching the spot from PlumTV, I went to the website UnderOurSkin.com and watched the trailer for the movie. I was overpowered by sadness (for the victims) and fear (for everyone). There are also YouTube videos available for viewing.
The movie has received honors at the Tribeca Film Festival, Berkshire International Film Festival, and Rhode Island International Film Festival. There are screenings throughout the country, including one in Boston tomorrow night. I assume that it will be available on DVD at some point.
