September on the Vineyard

We spent a lovely day with Steve and Helen on the Vineyard today. The forecasted high was 69 degrees, so we figured it would be too cold for the beach. We arrived as high tide was finishing up.

 

The beach was little (then) but the weather was beautiful. We laid out our stuff.

 

It ended up being a beautiful day. We got lots of sun and had lots of fun.

Now we're home. I'm tired. Even though I slept on the beach, on the bus, and in the car.

 

And we're both sun burned...
