Productive Weekend

We had a very productive weekend at home. While we missed camp, we got a lot -- lot done.

We spent Saturday installing a dishwasher, kitchen faucet, and toilet in the master bathroom.

We love our new stuff! We ended Saturday with a lovely dinner of Grilled Zucchini "Lasagna" with Italian Sausage, Tomato, and Basil Sauce. It was very yummy and very low carb -- couldn't ask for more!

We also watched What Remains: The Life and Work of Sally Mann, a documentary about Sally Mann, a well-known naturist photographer. Michael and I greatly enjoyed one of Mann's first photography books, Immediate Family. She captured incredible photos of her children as they experienced childhood. Her connection with the subjects and their visible emotions were incredible. After watching the documentary, Mike and I agreed that was her best work (and we don't care so much for her later topics).

I worked on the attic Sunday after Mike left for Washington DC. Things are rearranged and labeled now, allowing me to find what I need quickly. I also put two stainless steel shelving units in to help organize; one of them has wheels allowing easy access to the items on either side.

Thanks for everything, DD :)

For dinner on Sunday I made the Cincinnati Chili that I blogged about last week. Boy, it was yummy!

If you don't like too much kick, I'd recommend cutting the chili powder and chipotle powder by 1/2.

Sorry the pictures are bit fuzzy. My camera was acting up a bit.

Have a happy day!
