These are the basic, non-perishable, food supplies. More will have to be purchased, but this is a start. I am so ready to get these out of the kitchen floor. What a mess!!!
Totes, boxes, and bags are all lined up. They contain bedding, towels, clothes, paperwork, and all kinds of other goodies. I hope they all fit in the truck!
Last minute necessities from BJs. No, we are not taking all that Splenda (most is for home). Yes, we are taking all that vodka. It will last us many weekends :)
We managed to fit all that stuff into the back of the truck. The cover is down and sealed (so we don't look like the Clampetts), and we have the whole cab of the truck to fill with last minute items.
After we finished packing stuff up, I though Mattie would enjoy getting some of his winter coat brushed away. He loves getting brushed, I think he thinks it is kitty massage. We were left with a huge wad of hair after our 20 minute session (what you see above is only about 60% of what came off him). I left to get the camera and came back to him eating his hair like cotton candy. What a nut!
He then proceeded to roll around with his hair, brush, and halter. Oh, so easy to entertain!
I took the hair to the trash, but Mattie didn't mind. Playing with his brush was still fun. It is so great to have a kitty with personality!
Think of us today as we are setting up and unpacking! Have a happy day :)
