I got some information from one of my shopping blogs on April Fool's about a sale over at
Despair.com. I'd never heard of it, so I headed over to check things out. The site is a satirical take on the motivational posters that seem to be so popular (BTW, if you like those posters, you may want to quit reading now to avoid getting offended). You know, the ones that say stuff like "Achievement" then "It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed."- Theodore Roosevelt.
Despair's take on these posters struck me as hilarious. Why? Hmmm... I put 20 of my favorites in the slideshow below (images are
copyrighted by Despair.com who currently offers a selection of 97). My favorite is "Cluelessness."
This
is a real site. Even if you don't want to buy anything, the messages are pretty funny.
