More Plants are Blooming!

We found more plants in bloom when we "toured" the yard after work.

The cherry tree we planted in Brett's memory is blooming. You can see that the newer branches have leaf shoots but no flowers... The same thing happened last year with the new branches.

The other cherry tree by the milk house (which we bought at Lowe's about 4 years ago for $30) is also blooming.

Grandma's rhodie is ready to bloom. It usually comes out for Mother's Day. Good to see that we didn't shock it during the move.

We got some flowers for this planter Carolyn gave me two years ago. I know it looks puny now, but once these guys take root it should be pretty. This plant will go to camp.

As usual, I bought too many flowers :) I potted the rest up for this hanging plant. It will live at home for the summer.

I'll keep posting photos as things progress. The lilacs should bloom in a couple of weeks, the grass should be shooting up soon, and the hostas will unfurl within a month or so... And the flowers... So man flowers!

Smiles!

New Blog Design

In other news... I am so, so, so excited about the new design for the blog :) I picked it up over at Gisele Jaquenod's Birdie Says. So cute and happy! I love free, fun things!
