On Sunday night I wanted to try this great recipe I got online:
Coquilles St. Jacques Pot Pies with Roasted Lemon. As these things go, the pre-preparation was more work than we expected. Our grocery store was out of puff pastry, so we went to another store in another town. I was also on a quest for individual casserole/au gratin dishes. Fortunately, we found both.
I cooked up the mushroom béchamel sauce to perfection... I added it to the scallops for this photo.
After time in the oven, voila!, a beautiful pot pie.
It was so very delicious. I highly recommend this recipe!
