Good Weekend

We had a great weekend! We got lots done in the yard (more raking), undigging the pavers in the Japanese garden, and organizing/cleaning the barn. The barn was a biggie.

We had some fun, too. We did some shopping and got some good deals. Macys was having a home sale, so I got a new comforter set for our bedroom (this was the second choice, the first was quite damaged when I got it home so had to be returned).

We also got a new warming blanket and regular blanket for our room.

I am still in planning stages for our third bedroom which is currently an office and slowly inthe process of being changed. I picked up a great twin-sized bed in a bag for that room for just $50. I can't find a photo of it online, though.

We also did well in getting Mike a couple of new coats (Macys) and a nice casual top (EMS). All in all, a successful shopping weekend.

We took in a movie, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, with Steve and Helen on Saturday night. It was pretty cute. If you go, definitely stay through the credits -- otherwise you'll be disappointed.

Now only two days until the election... I'm nervous!
