Deb, Helen and I had a great Girls Night Out last night. We met for dinner at 86 Winter American Bistro on Water St in Worcester. We were seated in an area with only one other table occupied with diners (out of about 25 tables). Hmmm, we must have looked like we'd be loud!
We enjoyed different entrees. I had the Half and Half (half order of meatloaf and half order of macaroni and cheese. served with vegetable), Deb had the Chicken Marsala (chicken tenderloins sautéed with a domestic mushroom melánge finished in a sweet marsala. tossed with penne), Helen had the special (beef tenderloin with little purses of something with truffle oil -- I can't remember exactly). We decided to decline on desert (a big concession for me, especially!) and ended the night with hugs and farewells.
What a great time!
