From Mattie's original mom: "Mattie was born July 20, 1999 and adopted in late August in Arlington, VA. He enjoyed the Matisse prints on my walls and his striking markings reminded me of Matisse's collages. The name stuck, although it was almost immediately shortened to Mattie. Mattie has always been a gentle and kind soul that love all other beings."
I thought you'd like seeing Mattie as a little tyke. He was so cute (and still is!)
